I currently live in Germany, in the Bulvaria region, and suprize suprize springerle cookies are not carried year round at bakerys. It is impossible to find them at the ones that I have been to. They are only found at christmas festivals in my area and are seasonal as far as I know.

I have bought many molds as I started to collect them when I came to Germany, but house on the hill has several of the ones offered by venders in my area. They are just more affordable. In Europe everything is priced at Euro so when you pay us currency or rate it is a lot better. I consider myself lucky to have found them.
